Fibromyalgia
Moller Family

I am the mother of four boys and the wife of a very busy husband.
When my oldest son, David, heard about Dr. Allen, he decided to schedule an appointment to see if Dr. Allen could help him. David works part-time at Los Robles Hospital in Food Service. After long shifts of lifting heavy cases of food, preparing meals, and serving patients, he would develop back pain. I went with David to his second visit when Dr. Allen reviewed David’s x-rays and explained the treatment he would provide. Within the first few visits, David began to rave about how great he felt. I was then curious about what Dr. Allen could do for me.
I live with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalga, and painful frequent headaches. The top of my back and neck had constant pain and tension; so this was the area Dr. Allen focused on first. I have experienced steady improvement to the point where my upper back and neck feels very relaxed and almost pain-free. While talking to my husband about his headaches, I realized my frequent headaches are almost gone. I have also greatly reduced the amount of pain medication I had been taking.
My high school senior, Jesse, is 6 foot 4 inches and growing. During his soccer years, he took a number of hard hits. As an avid skateboarder, he had many hard falls. After working shifts at a restaurant, he often complained of an aching back. He also has had relief from this back pain. Dr. Allen has also made him more aware of his posture.
Now the whole family is seeing Dr. Allen. We are all seeing benefits with headaches and back pain … and all without the use of medications. Dr. Allen and his staff provide a professional and caring program that is clearly making a different in our health and well-being.

I have fibromyalgia. There are not too many days that I don’t feel some type of pain. I have been keeping it under control with anti-inflammatory medicine and every vitamin that is supposed to help joint pain that’s around. Last November something crazy happened to my elbows. They became so inflamed that I couldn’t even pick up a salt shaker without wincing in pain. I went to my rheumatologist. He had me try every anti-inflammatory and when they didn’t help he put me on pain relievers four times a day. That didn’t help so he gave me Vicodin. That didn’t touch it either. My doctor told me that it must be my age. That was ridiculous! He only proved to me that he had no idea how to treat me. About that time I heard an advertisement from a doctor who was having success with fibro patients. That doctor was Dr. Allen of Clear Purpose Chiropractic. I called the office and requested information on this success. I received the info promptly, but what with the holidays I didn’t call for an appointment until January. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by a very friendly staff, a beautiful office, and a kind, caring doctor. After an exam, including X-rays, Dr. Allen told me my prognosis and the treatment that would help me. I didn’t have much faith but I was desperate and I was willing to try anything that gave me hope.
I have been going to chiropractors on and off since I was15 years old, 41 years ago. I have had good doctors, mediocre doctors, and a few real healers. I always thought that the real healers could feel where you had pain and adjust you accordingly. Dr. Allen is a real healer. His adjustments are spot on and I feel relief. When Dr. Allen adjusts my neck, I actually feel the opening up of my nerves with great electrical currents flowing down my arms to my fingertips. Will miracles ever cease?! My elbows are healing! My arms are gaining their strength back and it doesn’t hurt to pick things up.
During this time my grandson, Cody, who is 8, fell on his tail bone while doing acrobatics and was quite sore. I brought him into the office and Dr. Allen immediately made him feel at ease. Dr. Allen adjusted Cody and Cody is healed. Whenever he gets a stiff neck he looks forward to seeing Dr. Allen because he knows he will get better after his adjustment.
I also referred my son to Dr. Allen. He had been having severe pain in his lower back. The sports doctor told him that he had arthritis and should take 800 mg of ibuprofen daily. He was not healing. The pills barely helped him. Dr. Allen had a different diagnosis for Scott with proof of what he was talking about shown in the X-rays. Scott experienced immediate relief and continues to heal. When you feel safe bringing your family to a doctor it’s because you know that you can trust him. I am grateful to be going to a trustworthy doctor, who can actually help you to heal and prevent further injury and discomfort.
